Good small size and does the job!
I love the small size of this thing, I bought this for our bedroom where our newborn is sleeping and used a poster sticky tac to put it on the wall above our diaper changing station. It did come with a nail to put in the wall but as I wanted to be able to move it around for future use thus I used the poster sticky tack, the thermometer is light enough so it works just fine on the wall.

These are very small.
They look pretty large in the pictures, so i was expecting something like the size of a smartphone. but they're really like smaller than a billfold. I ordered two, one for each room in my house that I frequent, and they've really helped me be more aware of the humidity levels in the rooms. This is a great benefit to my nose, since dry air in my house is killing me right now (even though I live in Georgia, which is notoriously humid).

Great units, outstanding customer service.
Update 11/4/2018: StarTop sent me an upgraded version of the unit when they saw that I had an issue with one of the 3 units I purchased. This replacement unit is accurate and I'm a happy customer. This is outstanding customer service, and I have changed my rating to 5 stars up from 4. I will be buying more units in the future. Thanks StarTop! I bought 3 of these, and put all 3 down on the table next to each other to see how much variance there was. 2 of the 3 were in agreement right away within a couple of minutes to .3 F, and were an exact match on humidity. .3 F is close enough to call accurate, so that's good. However, the 3rd unit was 5 degrees warmer than the other 2, and the humidity was 5 points low. Slowly over the course of a half an hour, the temperature dropped to within .2 F of the higher of the other 2 units, and within .5 of the lower unit. The humidity although starting 5% lower than the other two, ended up 1% higher than the other two after a half an hour. In the end, the oddball unit which seems slow to adjust did in fact settle within .5F of both the other units, and within 1% of the other units for humidity. This is accurate enough to say the 3rd slower to adjust unit "works", but I can't help but feel like something is wrong with it. One time I picked it up for a minute, and the temperature jumped to 90F, and I had to remove the battery to get it to go back to normal. Maybe this sensor is very sensitive and holding a unit by hand will make the temp jump very quickly. As someone else said, they felt that they had a unit which wasn't working 100% normally, and the company replaced one of them. I would also like a replacement unit for the one which is slow to adjust because I do think something is off about it. As far as the humidity indicator symbols, there is a rain drop graphic, and a smiley face graphic. There might be a frowning face too, but I haven't seen it. These symbols are so small, that someone casually glancing at the units wouldn't even be able to see them. You really have to put your face right in front of it to see it. All in all I like these a lot and they will do the job. I would buy more of these.

Great for the price
This little object is better than I expected. First, it is smaller than expected (but that's my problem since they have the dimensions clearly written). Second, the measurements it takes are fairly quick. As soon as I put it in another room (with a humidifier) the level goes up in seconds! For the price, this is great

Very slow to update
The seller sent me another one for free, and I’m happy with their attitude, so I’ll change my rating. Below is my original review. ———————————————————-First it’s super tiny, like two square inch, which I’m fine about. The problem is the temperature is not very accurate and takes a long time to change. The manual says it updates every 10 seconds, but it takes a lot longer to actually reach the accurate reading. Right now it’s been 20 minutes since I walked out of a 75 degree office to the 30 degree parking lot, and the thermometer still reads 56 degree while dropping like a degree per minute. I don’t think I’d be patient enough to wait for the reading most times

Be aware of humidity levels when you sleep.
I have recently become aware of how dry my bedroom gets and how it affects my breathing at night, as well as the moisture in my skin. In an effort to get the moisture level up a bit I added some plants to my room. This gauge has been perfect for letting me know how I am doing with the humidity. On the nights when it has a low reading or when I am going to run my space heater, I also have a bedside humidifier. With this gauge I know when I need to use the humidifier or not. It is quite small, so doesn't stand out or take much space. It was easy to set up. Just pull the battery tab, tap C/F to get the type of reading you want, then it jumps to the current readings within about a minute. It is amazing how dry air can negatively affect your sleep!!!!!!

I ordered three of these units to help with adjusting the heating/cooling in my new home. When left to equilibrate side-by-side their temperature readings ended up within one-tenth of a degree Fahrenheit of each other. Their humidity readings were identical. They were in close agreement with the temperature displayed on my digital thermostat. The only gripe I have is, like other reviewers, I found it near impossible to pull out the plastic strip that isolates the battery prior to use. I had to pop off the battery cover with the tip of a knife on two of the three units. It is a one-time issue, and easily worked-around. So, no points off.

Great for a nursery
Background: our house's ventilation is weird. With having a baby, I wanted to make sure my baby's nursery was at the right temperature - as her swaddle guidelines state 68-72 degrees is best, and I've learned from doctors that a cool room is important to reduce the chance of SIDS. This thermometer helps ease my fears as I know she is at a safe temperature. Very thankful I made the purchase!

5 stars for teaching me a lesson
Giving 5 stars because this little thing taught me valuable Amazon lesson. Read the description thoroughly. Yes, I too thought this would be bigger. Didn't read the dimensions. I too though it would be more accurate. Didn't read the description. The seller/listing has done nothing wrong. The description lists the tiny demitions and the pretty generous swing in readings. It's on me that I failed to do more than look at a picture. If you need a general idea on temp and humidity, have good eyesight than pick this up. Oh, yeah. Take the battery door off to remove the plastic that keeps the battery from contact in the compartment before being sold. Will save some aggravation
